When I was on Uni placement at Bolton Octagon and Liverpool PLayhouse some of the actors from Brookside used to tell me how ppl think they are minted cos theyre on the telly but that you only got paid if you were filming a current storyline.

That reminds me, they were talking about actors that were fed lines through an earpiece on a recent episode of The Rest is Entertainment and the chat was that most actors didn't do it as it was seen as being lazy and disrespectful. Johnny Depp did it (as he was pissed), Robert Downey Jnr does it and Rita Ora did it for her part in the Shades of Grey movie where she apparently only had 4 lines in the whole movie.

Random story lol but Rita ora did a ward visit at Xmas a few years ago on a children’s intestinal failure unit who are on what we call tpn bags that some are similar to banana bags or iv drips. They are on them for years and life threatening complications anyway she stood in the corridor joking about being jealous because she could of done with a banana bag 🙈🙈🙈 don’t get me wrong she was lovely with my daughter but read the room 🤣🤣🙈

Mike Batt is on my ‘Twitter Weird List’. I mentioned on Twitter I was scared of the Wombles when I was little and he liked my tweet. Obviously goes searching for his name and Wombles because I hadn’t mentioned him and I don’t follow him. I hate that. That’s why he’s on the weird list. Him and Bobby Crush (one for the kids there!)
 
Ooooooh the hollyoaks chat has ignited a memory in me. I’m tit with names so bear with 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

About 18 years ago I went on my, now sister in laws, hen do at centre parcs. It was a classic hen, cheese on toast but really good fun, we were in a bar one of the nights and Jake from HH was there, I had quite a huge crush on him, HH was v popular at the time. He was dating the lady who played Mercedes’ sister at the time,(the woman who’s now married to Emmett Scanlan.) anyway my v drunk SIL went over and they were absolutely lovely, she (the gf) took a pic of my SIL with Jake, before smart phones so we had to go to the chemist to get the film developed 😂😂😂😂 anyway, I’m sure she still has it, but somewhere in my brothers house there is a photo of his wife draped over Jake from Hollyoaks in a pink cowboy hat and a pink feather boa around the 2 of them 😂😂😂😂 they were both extremely good sports around our drunk, and probably very annoying, group of women! 😊

I have just been to Morrisons for the first time in about 3 yrs and found they sell D & B made by Ben Shaw's, the brand I remember from many years ago. I did buy one but can't open it for a couple of days as it as it is to have with my Vodka at the week-end - why didn't I buy 2. doh. Did it taste the same as you remember ?

I went to those open auditions (2000 so presume we're talking about the same ones) The queue was so flipping long I bailed after several hours and gave up my life long dream of acting 😂

Elite du Toit divorced Rafe Spall recently but I'm not sure if she's actively acting these days.

Marcus Patrick married someone on the peripherals of my school friendship group. Been together about 15 plus years with two kids

I snaffled the last dandelion and burdock in Home Bargains. There must have been a run on them today, for some reason the whole shelf had gone bar one🤔😁😋
