saying this in case it helps anyone. I developed male pattern facial hair at puberty, but was even a hairy kid. No cause found, no family history. I tried a course of laser treatment which got rid of the lot for a few months, but then it grew back worse. I’m very dark haired and pale skinned so you can imagine. Finally found sympathetic doc who prescribed me with Eflornithine cream. Complete game changer. Huge fan of hairy blokes, mind you.

Glad to see that I'm not the only person who thought - even at the age of 11 - that the Beatles were over-hyped shyte.

Just to add to this, you can't use them on tattooed skin. so if like me your legs and arms are covered it might not be worth shelling out for one.

Or if you're fair haired. I'm blonde but with PCOS. Even got a referral to the hair clinic, in the Royal Free iirc, and they were very clear that it'd be a waste of time for all involved. So I pluck, pluck, pluck and spend a lot of money on tweezers
