young girl at work has just seen Ghost at the theatre and told me that Amanda Holdens husband was in it. I said you mean Les Dennis, and she was unknown until she hooked up with him and then dumped him!

S Club a bit after my time tbh.. dont know a lot about them and thought they were more of like a band for kids.. was it them that had a member who lived quite local to me in West London and kept putting a load of weight on and off or is that some other band I'm thinking of?

Bake Off has ran its course, it should be axed after this season ends. It's boring and I was a massive fan at the start and for the first few series, now it's just the same old lack luster 2nd rate shadow if it's former self.

Liam Payne is rancid. I don’t know how I’ve managed to end up on the side of Twitter that posts this stuff but apparently the member of 1D who had his hands round his throat that time was Zayn (and I’m assuming Zayn still has full use of his hands 🤭). And Liam has apparently been asking lots of his fans to send nudes even when he’s in a relationship.

(Also, please note that I’m a middle aged woman who knows next to nothing about 1D, but whenever it comes to Payne, he’s so godawfully, fascinatingly, cringy that I just can’t look away).

Round about the height of their fame, Hannah and Jon were stood next to me on the bus from Finsbury Park. They looked just like bored colleagues on the way home from work.

Though it was strange but then it came out in the press that each S Club member was only on a pittance of a salary, despite flogging their arses off, having hit records etc.

There is something maternal in me that worries about Liam, he needs help, or some structure in this life, I feel there's always one in each boy band that goes off the rails, didn't think it'd be Liam in 1D! He seemed settled when he was with Cheryl and since then he's behaviour has got odder and odder. Sometimes we all have to give up on our dreams so if he can't make it as a solo singer, he should use what talent he has to do something else in the music industry.

My money is on Lee. I think Duncan may be gay. One of them (Simon?) is black which I guess you would have mentioned to help us rule him in or out, there was a chubbier guy but I suppose that could be a reason for a tight fit shirt.

I know he has adhd and likely part of that may make it more likely that he is chasing excitement, but ‘cum’ on… twit-addict seems more appropriate as he behaves like a teat most of the time and the term twit helpfully has another meaning.

Duncan has definitely come out. I do know of one demi-celeb in my part of the media though, who did this whole big sobby coming-out story involving press officers and stuff, when it seems to have just been a brief fling with another guy.
