My granny had a thing for Anthony Newley. She would have had the vapours at this. She also refused to believe that Ian McKellen was gay, because she fancied him as well. She considered the word "homosexual" to be Not OK. Not because of actual homophobia, but because it had "sex" in it. It's one of the universe's mysteries how this lovely, if rather strange, woman, had several children.

It was my friend's mum. It was while he was filming on the Isle of Man about 20 years ago (although that's me guessing as crap memory, it may have been 15)and on the few occasions she met him he was very nice and she said he was very clean and tidy. There was no juicy gossip and I only found out afterwards because at the time I was obsessed with him and I would have tried to infiltrate the cleaning team 😂

He was a bit of a one, Robin Gibb. I remember reading some interview from (I think) the late 70s with Robin where he spends a lot of it talking about his VHS porn collection and how great porn is. He must have racked some dial-up bill when he first got the internet.

It's Barry Gibb's birthday today - he's 78. He's one hell of a songwriter and certainly kept his hair for a longer time than Robin, who possibly had the worst bleeping wigs I've ever seen.

A funny looking fella as I said, he got better looking as he got older, despite the syrups. The love child, Snow, and mother used to live in Amersham, Bucks, he bought them a house before he span off the mortal coil
