I watched a repeat of an episode of The Tube on a cable channel once. Paula was introducing Frankie Goes To Hollywood and made a really bitchy remark about one or more of the backing dancers' cellulite.

Not surprised as much and all as I liked her she was definitely a fat phobe and took pride in being thin

Yeah I really wanted to like The Witcher series but he's so damn off putting. Big step down from the helm of a Hollywood superhero franchise to doing a Netflix show. It's hardly HBO or Sky Atlantic.

However, I’m clearly older than

you all and have loved Keanu since Bill and Ted and Parenthood. I had a J17 poster on my wall of him for years. He is beautiful.

The living arrangements were bizarre and totally not normal. Young girls with lots of money in their banks accounts going out at night from a young age and he reaping the praise of being a saint all the while being a lazy parent and from what we know am uninvolved grandparent too

My uncle is registered blind and an aunt. To be blind isn’t necessarily to have complete darkness. You can see shapes and tones sometimes but you are still disabled by the lack of vision.

Me too. It was appalling. I would normally turn a film like that off but I wanted to see how the storyline played out. Rubbish. All the acting was bad but I don’t rate Cavill whatsoever.

That was reported at the time yes, leaks from friends of the girls who said they were left unsupervised most of the time. Really sad because both he and Paula had weird neglected (but not poor) childhoods. Paula's mother kept running off to be a chorus girl/starlet leaving her with her depressive father, who himself chased young girls. Bob's mother died when he was 8 and his father had to keep travelling for work, leaving him on his own a lot and then onto boarding school. In Bob's book "Is That It?" he wrote that because he and Paula hadn't had good childhoods they really wanted to create a great home and family together, so sad how it turned out. Not just the divided-up house scenario but when she left Bob for Michael Hutchence, Peaches and Pixie were only 5 and 4, so they had the upheaval of being dragged around through their parents' very ugly divorce, new stepdad, their mother turning into a druggy party animal, a new baby, then Michael and Paula's deaths. No amount of money could protect you from that trainwreck, it was so sad.
