The term “celebrity” seems pretty objective. There’s a lot of “stop talking about this person I’m not interested in them” on here at the moment and it’s a bit silly as you can just scroll past the stuff you’re not interested in. I don’t think the subject of abused kids should be discussed here as it’s meant to be light hearted and that just brings an awful downer on the conversation, but policing which people qualify as a celebrity or not isnt really on. Nobody is going to have brand new gossip on A listers like Tom Cruise or Jen An because it’s all already out there on the internet and has been discussed several threads back. A listers are now keeping their private lives a secret because it’s too easy to be caught out. Similarly, it’s easier with social media etc to control the narrative of what’s out there and being said about them. So to the posters asking people not to talk about the kardashians/big brother/Geordie Shore/reality celebs, what celebrity gossip are you contributing to this thread and what tea can you personally spill?

We talked about this in one of the earlier threads. It wasn't a weird affair, it was a full blown affair. Tess had a book out at the time and there was clearly some story trade offs going on. Vernon was and probably always be what me and my mates call "a shagger". I do wonder if it affected his career because he's not on TV anymore and time was he was prime time fodder. That's a big fall from grace when you have the likes of Stephen Mulhern who are still managing to have a prime time TV career.

It does make you wonder how he managed to get the Formula E presenting job - even if it is a far from high profile job. I can't believe Tess would let him go gallivanting around the world without her being able to keep an eye on him and making sure he keeps it in his pants.
 
His private jet was apparently called the "Lolita Express" and it was FULL of A listers. Eminem included according to Epstein's flight logs :( Trying to find the link I saw, there's a photo of Em with a girl called Rachel Chandler. Don't want to read it in case it's really bad :(

It’s been announced that Family Fortunes is coming back and he’s not going to present it - they want Gino to.
 
Just going back to Supergrass, I’ve met/seen them a few times. First time was in the 90s when they stopped and asked me for directions to get to their gig (in Norwich). Around 2007/8 can’t remember which, they performed at Pudfest in Camden - kept themselves corned off, whereas Graham Coxon who was also there was lovely and just mixing with us at the bar etc. Then saw Gaz & Danny’s Hotrats also in Camden - at the end Daisy Lowe and Jaime Winstone started dancing on stage whilst swigging back champagne. Attention seeking.

I dated somebody in Joss Stones inner circle. He felt really sorry for her as her mum was a drunk nightmare.

St Etienne - father of my first born toured with them.
 
You lot are mad. After a few series in, Big Brother contestants became more PR-savvy and more aware they may have a "brand" with an eye on magazine deals, advertisements, reality shows, that's when I lost interest.

It was always about Celebrity Big Brother for me. Probably the best ever series was when Brigitte Nielsen was in it (Caprice Bourret as well, I think?) and the producers tried to provoke a confrontation by sneaking Jackie Stallone in. Or "Brackie". And they actually got on really well.

Also Pete Burns (RIP) and Michael Barrymore, both being insomniacs and bitching about everyone else in the middle of the night.

It's Celeb BB I miss.

(Yes I know Big Brother isn't welcome on this thread, but surely the Celeb spinoff is) :p
