I don’t know who she means but I feel a twinge of unease that Katherine Ryan seems to have appointed herself the Abuser Witchfinder General. Russell Brand was exposed from four years of painstaking investigative journalism which incorporated careful fact checking and legal checking. If a victim of any abuse speaks up my inclination is to believe them.

But a third party throwing aspersions at an unnamed comic, thus throwing a cloud over many innocent men too, makes me uncomfortable.
 
This is completely unrelated to anything else we've been talking about but I just came across the Gaylor Swift sureddit.

For anyone who doesn't know "Gaylor" is a bunch of obsessed weirdo fans who are convinced Taylor Swift is a lesbian based on hyper analysis of her songs lyrics, her having been in the same room as other women, her clothes and stuff they've just pulled out of their arses.

There was a high up post titled "Why won't she just come out?"

I was so tempted to reply "Because she's not gay you freaks" but I didn't think it was worth the fallout 😂

It was - I think the final was the most viewed programme in 2010. There was also Gamu-gate which made national headlines (she was Simon's prediction to win).

Posted this before but Adele probably has Gamu to thank for putting her back into the limelight with that 'Make You Feel My Love' cover (which was a Bob Dylan cover). Adele released 21 a few months later and rest is history.

I can’t stand her, I don’t get what the hype is about her at all. Here’s another song about an ex bf.
