I hope no one has any bad tea about Lee Mack. I really like him.

I once was an extra on a programme with him and he is the nicest person. Funny, interested in everyone not just 'important' people. He joined the main queue for lunch with all the riff raff instead of sitting in the green room waiting for his food.
He also was quite endearingly shy and nervous about it all.
I really really liked him too.

That’s reasonable but if we have one rule for men and another for women we risk going back to a time when any boy molested by a middle aged female teacher “should be thanking his lucky stars”
I’ve seen what it can do to a man to be groped by a woman while everyone round him laughs. It’s not nice.
But I stand by my criticism; if any tv show aired this with the roles reversed it would be cancelled and the host and guest wouldn’t be working in tv again

I remember Pete on Virgin radio being asked who was the worst guest.
You can guess who he said

Kim Kardashian looked positively Arabic before surgery. NO ONE would have considered her “white” unless they have some kind of ideological point to prove.

Khloe the white sister being considered the “ugly” one is more proof of white features being considered inferior.

You can’t prove that white features have been the standard of beauty “forever”. Where is the tangible evidence of that?

It doesn’t get any attention outside of grievance-group media because it’s nonsense and it doesn’t deserve to. Are black girls Desi-fishing when they wear the hair of poor Indian girls?

White features in themselves are not revered. If all white women looked like Margot Robbie with Barbie features then yes but white people rarely look like that. Where is the celebration of the most common white features of mousy brown hair, bony noses, pale skin, thin lips and early wrinkles? Nowhere. In fact, as I said, these features are demonised.

All races are encouraged to look like other races. The beauty and fashion industries couldn’t sell as much if girls were happy as they are. Blacks are not uniquely victims and whites are not uniquely guilty.

Absolutely tone deaf and also offensive.

I remember Johnny Vaughan interviewing DA about something, and DA mentioned he was now a communist. JV shouted 'Power to the People' and you could just see the temperature in the room drop, and DA said something like 'You taking the piss?'. I really DA had a sense of humour failure.

Attended a wedding many years ago. A famous England footballer. Ashley Cole turned up on his own just as the ceremony was about to start hadn’t yet put on his cravat/tie . He came and sat next to my husband and I in our pew and fussed around with that thing for the first 5 mins. Rio and his wife sat behind us and a number of other players my husband having to subtly tell me who was who. Cole is tiny like a teenager. He was disengaged pretty much through the church bit, but it was at the peak of the Cheryl split. Huge watch on. At the evening event he was showing an interest in a bridesmaid. Rio on the dance floor most of the night. Really bad brown shoes if I recall - it’s all in the details . No Andy Cole was not there.
