Why is she still shite-ing on about the consultant and going private? She has a healthy 3 day old newborn, that’s the important thing. Put the phone down and take in the precious moments, you won’t get them back. There’s another cork hun on here that’s the same, everything is “my team” shouting out the consultant by name. The notions and narcissism couldn’t be any louder. We get it, you’re sUpER sPeCiAL

edit to add, do they ask permission shouting these consultants by name to thousands of followers? They’re doing their jobs, they’re top in their field and see dozens of other patients a month. They don’t need reassurance or referrals 😂

Suppose Dan will get so many new private patients now sandys next one will be delivered on the house! #ad #pr

God almighty - were they filming the entire medical team during the section ??? And have these people approved having their pictures posted on this moron's insta-stories.
BTW Randy, it's midwives not midwife's - tut tut from such an academic
Well done @Aisleseat - I remember years ago Sandy correcting a lovely waitress (who worked for her at the time) on her grammar, it was only something minor but the girl was in tears. She was actually a student at the time and is now a Pharmacist, a fabulous girl unlike the jumped-up 42 years old with her Masters in child and family law - aka home wrecker

If I had to use one word to describe her it would be smug…if there was ever a time to show some humility or self awareness… I’d say her parents never told her no as a child
Spoilt rotten and her mother had her up on a pedestal....don't get me going now!!

The thing about the private care isn't even true anyway. She's making it out that you're only safe as a public patient if your medical history is basic and uncomplicated. That's completely false information. The advantage of private is seeing the same doctor all the time but that wouldn't bother me too much. Sometimes different people notice different things so I'd be good with a second opinion. If it's too difficult for the junior doctor they'll always ask a more experienced consultant to help

This sort of pontificating has potential to harm Colm's political aspirations. Despite his complicated personal life he seems like a pleasant and helpful public representative. I quite like that he's clearly not so perfect himself, it makes him more relatable

Is absolutely anything sacred in this world anymore . The more I think of it uploading footage from the delivery room to social media ,and from a person who likes to keep her private life private . Who used that line Randy because you had no life ,oh sorry a dark sordid secretive one .
Top Notch(y)

Except the likes of Dr McKenna would have too much self respect to have to rely on the likes of Sandy and her Insta-marketing crap.

It's a step too far, she may regret it, what an absolute tit for brains she is:mad:

The delivery room pics all look so calm and peaceful which I expect it was as everything appears to have gone perfectly to plan. But she's lying there looking so dignified with her perfect blow-dry. She could almost have been getting her eyebrows done. It's unrepresentative of what giving birth is like for a lot of/most women. Often it's a quite traumatic experience. Would we have gotten all the pics if she had to push?

I'm glad she had a good experience but I'm worried that the insta perfect birth will cause other women to compare their own situations and get upset. She has plenty of followers who've unfortunately never heard of tattle

Shes a condescending see you next Tuesday! Great for her to have the choice to go private when she has no mortgage or rent to pay!

I'm astounded at her.

She got the same treatment as anyone else willing to pay privately. Grand. But there's no need to be posting that utter crap.

The consultant anaesthetist staying by her head..... its his funking job and he got paid well for it. She really thinks she's special..... God live her cos its obvious the baby daddy doesn't make her feel that way

And calling the anaesthetist an angel. These people are professionals. I think she believes she got preferential treatment because Colm was the Lord Mayor but even to think that is so incredibly immature to think this has an impact on her care in a healthcare setting.

FFS did ye see the arrows she drew to make sure we all saw that poor Anaesthetist who was probably morto and a big "here" does she think we are all in junior infants, OMG so juvenile and such a show off.....

Ah now, the way she’s carrying on you’d swear the public system would just rip the baby out of you whilst you’re perched on a dirty stool! I was in for a d&c not long ago and because they had some probs with the spinal I had *two* consultant anaesthetists involved you snarky witch. All on the public system and I didn’t die - imagine that.

I’d say it’s safe to assume that even Crookstown’s favourite bareback jockey wishes he’d worn a condom now rather than be stuck with this insufferable simpleton for the rest of time. The new baby is a gift and I hope she and mother are well but honestly if we thought Sandy was a parasite who swallowed a thesaurus before….buckle up.

Lads is this even normal behaviour at this stage? I honestly don’t know anybody else who would go on like this including other ‘influencers’…who is all of this for?

I wonder is it well intended to reassure other pregnant women that it's ok, not that scary and that everyone will be incredibly nice to you and make it as easy as possible for you? We know she likes to explain how stuff works for us in general.

To be fair I found the thing about the placenta pills and the umbilical cord in the frame very interesting so I did learn something new from her stories. I've heard of those placenta pills but always thought it'd be a much more yucky procedure

You could be right..I actually used to think she wasn’t bad as influencers go..I just think her carry on lately especially with children involved has been shocking…so she will prob never influence me to do anything 😂

Isn’t her brother a doctor? Maybe that’s why she’s making such a point of acknowledging the medical staff. Again possibly very well intentioned

Or maybe it’s just an Insta hun thing whereby it’s important to tag everyone involved

There’s nothing at all wrong with thanking the staff and hospital, there’s everything wrong with implying that a complex medical history automatically requires private maternity care. What is that saying to expectant mothers with complex medical histories who couldn’t afford to go private? Roll the dice ladies?! What would she have done if her mum didn’t bankroll her going private?! There are women with far more complex medical histories than hers giving birth safely in the public system every day and for her to imply otherwise is a disgrace.

By all means choose to go private if you want to, but don’t make out that it was because the public system is less-than or dangerous. It’s the same hospital sis.

She also would have been given that ‘specific care’ if she went public…Randy was going private regardless…fanny problems or no fanny problems
