I work in a Women’s Hospital and there is NO way you would hand over human remains in a carrier bag. It all has to be dealt with sensitively and ethically. In terms of miscarriage/late loss the patient can choose for the hospital to sensitively dispose or a funeral director is allocated. She’s off her head.
