Good grief, pot/kettle much? I'd like to know which issue this was in, so I can work out when it was written

The Brandon Truaxe saga was very sad. He posted several videos that were obviously pleas for help

Yes, deflect by referencing an obvious tragedy

Glamour only do two issues a year. This is AW so I'd guess it was written later in the year but it's hard to know.

Do you do the five-minute one or the 15-minute one? Applying the gel to each area, then washing it off your hands each time is a pain
This is my usual NuFace routine. Not sure how long it takes. I'll time it and let you know.

I sit at a table, in front of a screen (Netflix, iplayer, YouTube) with: NuFace device, gel, La Roche-Posay water spray, damp microfibre cloth, dry cloth or towel.

I put gel on the left side of my neck and follow the NuFace routine for the neck. I then put gel on the left side of my face and follow the routine for the lower part of the face. I then repeat on the right side. I don't use the NuFace on my forehead (because I don't think it needs it).

After applying gel I wipe my hands with the damp cloth and dry them it needed. If the gel gets a bit dry (so that you can feel the microcurrent) I spray it with water or add more gel. At the end I wipe the NuFace with the damp cloth.

Is British Beauty Blogger a friend/colleague of Sali’s? There’s a cryptic tweet I can’t understand and I wondered if she’s throwing shade or joining in on a joke.

Sali Tweets something along the line of: please keep talking about your amazing CBD oil products

and BBB replies:

‘I'd like to hear more about your sciencey Dr brand that indicates a medical capacity it can't possibly have...’

are they talking about the same brand? Sali didn’t reply to her so I wondered if it’s a disagreement over the credentials of a particular product line

BBB was one of the many who tweeted support for SH on the Friday - and thus went down a notch in my estimation. (The few who might have done but didn't - I noticed no tweeted support from the High Low women - went up a notch.)

ETA: I understood people instinctively offering support to someone who was upset, but it wouldn't have taken more than a couple of minutes to discover that there was more to it than met the eye.

I should have been clearer... I understood people being supportive, but I was shocked by the number of people joining the clamour to damn the Tattle Life trolls and bullies without - it seemed - informing themselves.

Same here, I've barely looked at her site since and unfollowed her on Instagram. I do still check once in a while for her "industry news" posts as I do find them informative. It's a shame because I always enjoyed BBB's content, but I can't stand by someone who just blindly supports an untruthful, supercilious cow like Hughes.

I’m laughing at some of the airheads on Instagram at the moment. Sali posts that she’s taking calls for charity along with a picture of her face, and the usual suspects are asking for a list of what makeup she’s wearing . Not while mummy is charity-ing, poppet. I mean, it’s the usual pinkish blusher, pinkish lipstick, brownish eyeliner... just pick what you already have, mate.

I always that BBB was alright until that Friday. She rivalled Pete Paphides for pomposity with her tweets that weekend imo.

Again, the irony that this so easily could ve a comment on SH instead of us .

I think this another thing that's muddied. Acquaintances/colleagues are referred to as "friends" as they meet at social functions which pass as work in their world. They're all friends, women supporting women, appearing in each other's podcasts and quoting for each other's books. It's like that fashion darling thing. They're not mates. No one can have that many proper friends but with pretence has to be kept up because who is going to be the first to refer to another MUA/PR/influncer as an acquaintance ibstead of a friend and risk the ire of the influencer community (who still engage in oftice gossip even without a shared office).

I’m not sure if they’re friends exactly. In her In The Bathroom With, Jane looked visibly nervous to me. I got the feeling their paths crossed occasionally, but that might be it?
Dont they both say in that video that they never go to launches and the like? SH has said elsewhere thst she's known for never going to these things.

Who was she referring to when she said ‘It has made her ILL’ on the Friday video? CH?
I think it was Lauren her assistant. The fact that she was moved to make a video after snooping on posters here and that snooping being mentioned on Estee Laundry's IG but not by her assistant being made ill by all the trolling and abuse on tattle is *interesting *. It almost like the "it has made her ill" was bullshit. (I didn't see one person enquire as to Lauren's health on IG or Twitter. I saw a bit of pisstaking about coments here, eg "shouldn't you be up the chimney?").

This is perfect, and basically the exact solution I came up with in bed last night! Thank you!

The screen part seems crucial :ROFLMAO:

Why is she doing her best dreamy, faraway-eyed, slightly parted lip thing then? 🧐
