I don’t get the Jo Malone obsession. Some of the perfumes are ok, but nothing really special compared with boutique brands at similar price point. Very middle of the road. And the brand pops up A LOT in Sali’s column & other channels (dissing cheap dupes). Do we smell a Blackberry & Bay scented rat?!

One of my favourite perfumes is a Jo Malone - Black Cedarwood & Juniper. I love woodsy scents but it's not always easy to find one that doesn't smell like floor cleaner, and I do find it nicely strong and long-lasting. That said, I hate buying from brands that are too influencer-friendly, luckily this bottle seems like it'll last forever so I won't have to give them any more money

How about do the voluntary/ charity work and not talk about it because in my experience it mostly comes across as bragging to other people. No one really needs to know about your good deeds surely. Just a thought.
