SacconeJolys #96 Anna’s pining for Matt the twit, Jono's churning out TikTok’s like a copycat

That photo is terrible, and so sad. There's been a handful of times in my years of motherhood where I have taken photos of my kids, and looking back on the photos after, I've realised they are inappropriate looking and deleted them straight away.

Most often, it's when my daughter asks me to take pictures of her doing gymnastics, or when she's covered her face with bubbles in the bath. I always take a picture, show her, and then immediately delete it.

Because those are inappropriate photos, and if they ever somehow made their way onto social media, god only knows who would see them and what they would be used for. I know this because I am a normal mother and not an exploitative asshole who uses their kids as their sole source of income.

Watched the original Beetlejuice the other day and it reminded me of Jonathan 🤣 he genuinely reminded me of him which says a lot!

Also, I think A2 will be exploited for being the 'neurodiverse' child. In his latest video, that's how J referred to A2. He also said he can't get diagnosed until he's 7. This was all said while A2 hurtled around a shop  being ND is not an excuse for not teaching your child how to behave. My child has ADHD and I wouldnt let her behave like that. He could knock someone over or cause an accident.

They have been told, repeatedly. They have been warned, repeatedly. Stacey Dooley when doing her docu series asked him flat out what he would think if he knew strangers were masturbating over the footage of his children. She used that word to his face. And yet they still post things like this.

They are not ignorant or stupid, after all these years I think we have to come to the conclusion that this is a choice they're making. And they don't care that they hurt their children in the process, as well as put others in danger when being very careless about posting locations and school logos.

you can't forget his response to that too.. he said "is it really a bad thing?" :( if you need to question whether that is a bad thing then you shouldn't have kids 🤷‍♀️

It's totally normal for kids to be interested in makeup... however it is not normal for a child to be posing the way A1 was...
My 6yo niece loves makeup, and sometimes she will go downstairs with her entire face covered in eyeshadow, and my sister will send me a picture on snapchat (they live miiiiles away so we don't get to see them often) and my niece will be pulling a silly face- being a child having fun, but if the picture looked in any way provocative my sister would delete it straight away. She wouldn't dream of sharing it online to the masses.

This is quite simply the saddest photo I’ve seen in a long time. The dead eyes, the blank open mouth pose, the robotic youth of her. Naturally Anna loves it.

Eloquently put. This is tragic. Really sad. Alessia has shown such a spark lately, a funny, sweet kid.

With this photo, it's like the weight of her new future, 'daily skin care' and 'make up' (for a 7 year old??!!) is crushing the life out of her and she's accepted her fate as a mindless, moronic Anna-clone for all time.

Edit - I just realised - it reminds me of the original Stepford Wives movie - when you realise the original has had the life crushed out of them and become this new, non-real person. Gosh I hope I'm wrong and she's back playing happily with the dogs and excited about the zipwire again soon!!

I don't like the SJs at all...but I do want to point out that being interested in makeup is normal for a lot of young girls.
My little girl loves to play with my makeup and will put it on whenever my back is turned (I do make her wash it off, and tell her she's beautiful without makeup etc) and is obsessed with different colours of lipsticks (purple is her fave). She sees me applying makeup and is understandably curious (although I loved playing makeup as a kid and my mam never wore any).
All of my daughters friends are the same, and the most recent birthday party they went to was a kids pamper party with hair styling, manicures and makeup.
however, I wouldn't dream of putting pics of her wearing the makeup on any form of social media though! My daughter wants a YT channel and to be a model (she has been asked by brands before) and I've said categorically no, firstly because I want her to have a childhood and secondly because however innocent videos and pictures may be, they can always be distorted amd used for nepharious means and that makes me feel sick

I think there is being interested in make up, and buying expensive make up in Sephora that is being used on the daily. I was in Sephora recently buying one or two items and I couldn’t believe the kids around 10 with baskets full of products. most of this stuff is very expensive, not like popping to Claire’s to get some eye shadow and lippy in a heart shaped palette. I literally hate the pair of them and feel at this stage they just aren’t ever going to be cancelled 😞

I hear those that say most kids love make up and playing with it, the word here is 'playing' with it.

In the case of Jonathan Joly he is encouraging his children to indulge, with "no budget" in purchasing copious amounts of skin care and make up and making vts of them applying it. (Incorrectly & grotesquely as it happens)

What demographic is he appealing to? Certainly most kids of the SJ's age could not afford that hideous amount of products nor would any right minded parent do so either. Their content is getting worse by the day.

If Alessia was playing with make up, she'd be covered in badly applied eye shadow and blusher. This was done by her mother, it's a replica of her mum's everyday look of full face make up. The picture is disgusting, and as much as they would try to convince those complain, could not be seen as something innocent. They know what they're doing, it's a choice.

I'm surprised by the amount of comments saying "Do the SJs not realise /understand that..." Guys. They know. None of this is accidental or an innocent mistake. All of their content is done on purpose. They barely even hide who most of it is actually for anymore. Hint it's not teenage girls or their super fans

Exactl. They have been aware for literally yeats, and do it anyway. It's a choice, done on purpose. Wish we could prove it to ss without getting in trouble ourselves...

Oh yeah my daughter just steals mine or gets cheap lip glittery lip gloss from Claires 😂

I'm not gonna lie, my daughter applies makeup better than I do 😂 it's very annoying especially as she has suggested I watch some makeup tutorials 😂 (i feel the need to point out that she only has access to you tube kids so isn't watching makeup tutorials as far as I know. She has just grew up watching me applying makeup every day but knows they exist and hiw to insult me haha)

I do get what everyone is saying though, this feels like more than just a young girl wanting to be like their mam ( as my daughter tells me) and more like it's being encouraged by Jono or Anna. I would NEVER encourage my child to wear makeup, and we argue all the time about her stealing mine to wear in the house because I am terrified it will damage her skin and I want her to know she is beautiful without it.
I can't imagine the SJs being like that.

Yes children being interested in and playing with make-up is not unusual. Posting a photo of your young child on your public social media fully made up and pouting is very inappropriate. Agree it’s giving Jon Benét Ramsey ☹
I think that’s the issue, isn’t it? I think a lots of kids experiment with make up as kids, using kids safe make up. Certainly not expensive brands. Then to pose like that, with clearly make up done by your mum to make you look older, it’s just creepy

Anna’s just posted an insta reel of her making black bean brownies and saying she’s always sneaking in healthy ingredients for her kids … did she not say previously that all that was fueled by her ED? What she’s doing again just screams old Anna with huge, huge, huge issues.
So many of her updates lately are exactly what a few years ago she said were signs her ED was back.
Competing with another bulimic can't be easy for her.

Nonsense! You can get diagnosed at any age. You don't have to be 7!

Whilst this is true, I think if they are going for ADHD, parents are often told to wait as some behaviours are considered normal for young children. It is also something schools say to put off parents if they don't think it's adhd and possibly caused by other factors (like...poor diet, lack of boundaries etc.....)

my auntie would give me her makeup she didn’t use and I would put it on in the house, but I never went out with it. I only wore it when I was younger on my birthday, but that was just mascara, eyeshadow and some lipgloss. It’s normal to be interested in it but it’s the parents who should be setting boundaries for their 7 yr old. It is also enforcing this idea that you need makeup to be “pretty” which isn’t a good thing to enforce on a young impressionable child, especially when her mother inflicts her eating disorder on them already.
