She's harsh on herself. To look at she was my favourite in my school days but then every guy I knew like Rachel more and generally agreed Tina was the worst looking of the four females. Odd me liking Jo as generally I am brunettes over blondes 9/10 :D
I didn't find her big in the slightest, I just found her less appealing because she was the gobby one.

Yeah, I don't actually think that was true. She was quite popular (because she was blonde), I even remember a few tv presenters at the time saying she was their favourite.

Can actually understand by watching the Spice Girls return in 2007 documentary named Giving You Everything I think it was, as to why likely I think some of them (Hannah acting for a while after the split up in Prime-Eval something like that, think was by the BBC), Simon Fuller (the SG former manager well they split off from him when dropping him, then for the reunion in 2007 was asked to be their manager again) has/had a habit of making acts work pretty much continuously, was likely one of the reasons (together with making all their decisions for them) for him being dropped by them (think was in circa 1998).

Fuller being the manager of 19 Management the company which managed both of them (certainly when SG became successful).

As to why they arent doing very much (S Club 7/S Club I mean) or most of them haven't done very much, also in reality (though was a fan of them) they didnt have much staying power either was just yeah didnt have anything at all that was quite distinctive about them at all.

SG actually came from former management they note that they all got in one of theirs cars and did a bunk from the house their first management got them all living together because of how rubbish they were.

I don't think anyone ever thought they were millionaires. Just a manufacturered group created by Simon fuller's company. It's hard to blame the management as they invested to create something from a group of unknown stage school kids.

Although they all could have been set up for life with their modest earnings and bought a decent house outright 20 years ago.

I had to laugh reading it. She didn’t want to pay rental prices. I’m sure even now they could have got a mortgage but it’s the wanting to live in central london bollocks no doubt……I’m sure too that given housing procedures she didn’t just get two weeks notice, unless they were so thick they didn’t seek any advice, and covid delays. But they had the money to rent an empty cafe?? Priority for me would have been a home for the kids. 150k a year back then really wasn’t bad money, that could have been a house outright, spending half each year on a mortgage. This just feels like they are all fishing out news stories, like all the 1980s stars did years ago in the hope of a revival. It just feels a bit desperate, and maybe, given Rachel was the only one to ever really go well out of this, then there’s some jealousy.
But the reality is, S club are my era and I would only want to go and see the full band doing the proper thing, not Tina gurning around pretending to be a good dancer and the lads just being there and that isn’t gonna happen. Tbh, I wish they would all stop trying to do these revivals, it worked for some bands, but it doesn’t mean they all need to do it, some jsut don’t have that ‘hit’ and S Club don’t.

Why didn't she buy a house with her earning?
Coz they are all claiming no one told them. I’m sure that my parents would have bloody told me to do so on that money! Especially when housing wasn’t as expensive at that time and mortgages were easier to get. And again, despite what they are saying, not one member of S Club was so young that they didn’t know people bought houses and invested money. It’s mad.

When Paul and Hannah were together they bought a house for 300k outright with cash, and sold it for 500k when they split. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/f...ought-my-first-house-with-the-money-i-got-fr/

There is no solid reason why she doesn’t own a house currently. What else has she been spending her money on??

It costs to try and keep being a celeb doesn’t it though, all the auditions, clothes, events. This is so common and you would think someone would say by now to people who lose fame ‘just get a job, no one will care, and you just look sad trying to keep it going and are skint….’ But then you get these stories and think ‘what the actual duck were you doing’ and it’s just sad in a different way

She does look terrible.

In all honesty, I think they were ripped off! I remember they had a TV show where they were in Miami or something ... and I remember they always seemed to be touring -- two areas where the big money is (TV - syndication keeps paying - and touring [which is why so many acts of yesteryear keep doing it]).

If she calculated how many hours she was working per annum to earn that 150k, it would no doubt be depressing! The management and record company were the only winners here.

I used to think they'd be nothing without Jo - she seemed to be the most talented one.

I used to love S Club when I was little, they were the first concert I went to when I was about 7 or 8. I watched a program on itvbe the other night with Hannah talking about her breast implants and I couldn’t get over how irritating she was 😂
I worked at a very fancy hotel in Glasgow (Glasgow people could probably guess) and we had quite a few famous people staying over the years. I can guarantee you that your most cherished actor or pop singer is annoying as duck. They are mostly drama/stage school alumni who need to constantly be the centre of attention - the faded stars are possibly worse than the relevant ones as they constantly need validation that people still remember them and that they’re still wanted. The most irritating people I remember that we had was Martine McCutcheon and Michael Barrymore who were borderline insufferable. We also had Liberty X who were so disrespectful, loud and messy.
