I find it really cringe also taking a baby to see Santa. Especially with her sat there too. More for her than for Freya. Maybe she still thinks he's real? The #gifts keep coming from somewhere and she's ever so well behaved not drinking alcohol, being tee-total and being saint grab emailing health visitors 'Thank you' emails.

Exactly!! My family would think I'd lost it and that I had FAR too much time on my hands. This is what I was saying in the last thread. She does this every year and it's just so bloody weird

The thought of all this random crap and clutter in her house stresses me out. It's like she thinks her home is a National Trust property, except hers is just tatty worthly junk scattered all over the place.

How sad that anyone would think it odd or unusual.

I loved taking my 5 month old to see santa and get his photo, and also each year since.

Agreed. I took my 4 month old the other week. I'm fully aware that she didn't have a clue but it was a lovely day out and we made the photo into a Christmas bauble for the grandparents who absolutely loved it!

Because you aren't doing it for the baby, you are doing it for yourself. I know many people who love to take pictures of their baby screaming or upset to be sitting in the lap of this strange looking guy and then bringing out the pictures in future years. The Babyccino set up isn't traditional though, with a parent sitting next to Santa.

I took my little girl to see santa when she was a baby and she wasn’t arsed one bit but i think it’s the whole grabby sat next to santa like she’s a 5 year old get out the photo you gif.
