So on the latest blog post Grabecca has said she is getting SMP. I’m assuming she means MA as she is self employed? She is only taking a break until September then will be back “working” so between now and sept I would expect to see no ad’s or affiliate links, as that would class as earnings which would cancel maternity allowance payments?

Have we any experts in tattle towers? 🤔

Wouldn’t put it past her.

Actually find it hilarious she will be claiming MA, wonder if she has opened a post office account to have it paid into... could you imagine seeing her at your local post office pushing her gifted bugaboo with one hand and her purple card in the other 🥴

** disclaimer- not saying there is anything wrong with having a PO account, just would be funny seeing snob of the century with one **

If she employs herself through a limited company and pays PAYE taxes then she can likely claim SMP. She the director of a limited company on companies house so likely put herself through a payroll to enable the entitlement.

She can do up to 10 paid KIT days and it doesn’t affect her entitlement to SMP. Likely she would put any money through the limited company and then pay herself through the KIT days or keep the money in the Ltd co until her return from mat leave and pay herself via dividends to avoid having to pay full taxes on the income.

Disgusting - I bet they'd care if mail online had picked up on it and wrote about them using an influencer that wrote things like that! That's put me right off M&S.

There was also the paint for the nursery, and the shutters. Then there has been lots of ‘little’ freebies like art prints, toys, baby clothes.

I think she’s been gifted maternity clothes but hasn’t declared it.....
