Yeah, the MAGA's are pretty conflicted insofar as most Americans know at least one person (family or friend) affected by addiction of somekind and/or own a gun. Biden Jr's conviction will have zero impact on the election. Trump's biggest fear is spending one day in jail and being photographed with no make-up and his hair all over the place. Imagine having no self-respect, no dignity, and no shame. Imagine how easy life would be. I sort of envy people like Brand (there are plenty of others). I find it profoundly depressing. Surely there must come a reckoning for people like this. I just can't see it, they seem to thrive in the current climate of greed and selfishness. I think I need a break from this thread.

Just listening to the News Agents podcast. Emily Maitlis is at the RNC in Milwaukee this week. She said she saw Russell brand there yesterday being interviewed for a show called the Patriot. There was a young attractive female assistant trying to keep her away but she overheard them asking him ' a lot of young men will want to know about Fatherhood '. She said of all the things to ask they ask him that. And just shows there level at the convention when they happily have a guy there with multiple sexual assault claims against him. But then look at their leader! She tried to grab him on the way past but he scarpered quick knowing she wouldn't have let him off so easily! Obviously still trying to grift the the US right now.

I think it's important to report on it and it's a big event so don't begrudge them reporting from there. They give a balanced view of it and are quite critical as well of how mental the whole thing has become.
