I think its really nice he's getting involved and setting a good example for others. Playing around with your buddies is different then writing hateful messages online. There is a reason why so many of us think he is a true captain of both City and Portugal's team. He is hardly the first footballer who has been injured and out and about. At least he isn't on a beach sipping cocktails and posting about it online.

Ruben didn't withdrew from Portugal's camp.
He wasn't called up to this International camp as he was reported injured by his Club.

Matheus Nunes was the one dismissed, because he got injured on the game after Portugal's call up.
Portuguese Football Federation comunication:"Dismissals of Matheus Nunes and Pedro Gonçalves, both injured while serving their clubs and declared unfit by the FPF Health and Performance Unit."

Either way I'm glad they are going to be playing in the international break hopefully they'll be back for citys next game
