I think it got too expensive to play pretend rich hence the “shopping addiction” post. Her SM lifestyle was catching up—if not already—financially and her husband isn’t a big time producer either.

I think this is it. Rose family was comfortable, but she really wanted to be like the girls with big money, designer bags, etc. I think once PJ looked like he was hitting the big leagues she went a little crazy with the spending (and bragging). She desperately wanted to be on a par with Julia B, and I think Julia moving on with her life shocked her already fragile mental state. Much as she thought of herself as a world traveler, I don't think she enjoyed it. That said, if she does return to SM, she may initially write something deep and tear-inducing, but I don't see her really changing.

Hollywood is NOT doing well at this time, lots of people in the business out of work. PJ was one of many producers of a short, but that's all I see.
