It’s so sad isn’t it. Looking like an individual is not in anymore it seems. The truly tragic thing is that all of these tweakments might look good on the gram, they can look pretty weird in real life. I cannot imagine altering my appearance in a way which would only give good results in photos.I do feel sorry for people well let’s face it women to feel the need/want to go to these lengths. I’m all for taking steps to make the best of your features, slowing down your aging but this all goes too far IMO. All the funny memes about men not knowing who they will wake up too in the morning won’t be long coming true at this rate.
The younger women I work with all have lip fillers and are all talking about composite bonding and Botox. I thought we were moving in from objectification
I get Botox myself , but I’m in my mid 30s and actually have wrinkles to prevent. Fillers too were designed to replace volume lost due to the ageing process but are now being used by much younger women to fundamentally alter the shapes of their faces.
The other thing is getting these things done should be expensive if you’re going to a proper practitioner, using the best materials. This whole industry is too loosely regulated and there are beauticians out there injecting faces with no knowledge of facial anatomy, vascular structures etc. You can blind someone with lip filler if you don’t know what you’re doing!
