So the signed copies are just stickers you have to put in your book is it ?! Surely you’d make sure those who pledged money would get the books first

I actually enjoy the podcast at times and wish it was more consistent

I can’t believe that she didn’t make it her business to make sure that those who went out on a limb to support her got actual signed copies. A sticker is just laughably ignorant and embarrassing. She really could do with copping on and getting her tit together. She’s been making excuses for herself for about ten years now. There comes a time when people have just heard enough of the flakiness and will lose interest.

Authors don’t get hard copies to sign, its usually just one page. Or a sticker.

She left the dog with her parents who told her to rehome her after she left. She also got rid of Brandons’ cat.

I don’t think that’s true. I’ve often seen authors on insta sign hard copies of their books.
Promo shots. Unbound would never ship books to her, then ship them back to their warehouse, then ship to customers. Its too expensive.

Any signed book I have is singed on the 1st page usually and not a sticker.
Exactly, one page sent to the author to sign before the book is bound. The sticker was a little joke.

she admitted later that she probably could have taken her. She has a history of dumping pets while living in Dublin cos she got bored of them, it’s a real bug bear of mine.

She has mentioned it before, not that long ago. Got two cats while renting a house in Phibsborough and one possibly ran away and the other was “given to my parents” who then dump them too.
Apparently the parents used to do it too, just get bored of pets so would dump them, as they subsequently did with the other dog and Coillean.
