I love the show so much and like that they mix the rounds up, I think there's something for everyone.

I dislike the contestants who come on having never even watched an episode, I think that's just rude. I also struggle with people who are just awful at it, the sort of people who have been on every 'celebrity' show going, Kadeena Cox is the latest cringey one who is just awful at it

I think the contestants who are amazing often have enough self awareness to let others succeed, or at least give away a prize to them. Whilst Angela Barnes did very well it didn't make her very likeable, whereas someone like Mike Wozniak came across so well. Another awkward one was Val McDermid who ignored all the cues suggesting she should let Rebecca Lucy Taylor have the gift for her dad

Sorry it's so blurry - but I was watching a Buckley's vlog with James and his wife and was disappointed to see he had put the breadbin he won in the garage!

Why sad? Ideal storage for tools etc.

I'm struggling a bit with this series and I think it's the new games. Just not as good and several are just a variation on ones they already did

Absolutely! Mike Wozniak always comes across as such a lovely chap. 😍

I agree with all the comments about the new rounds. Feels like they've tinkered with the show too much and it has lost its way a bit.

I have to say I'm so impressed with HoG for the way they have made it totally unnoticeable that Chris McCausland was competing as a blind man in a show where there are often visual elements. Changing answer smash to musical clues not pictures and missing out rounds where you had to see was hardly noticeable and he was able to compete on a level playing field with other contestants. What a great example to other shows

So happy to find this thread, recently started watching and I love it! I was amazed at times with some of the written things that he was able to answer well I imagine he has a good memory , I think without being able to read certain things I would find it much more difficult he must have to focus so much more
