Retro Flame #8

She doesn't like to mention it but the apartment is actually on the Upper West Side? 🤣
Love the way she just totally ignored the broken splashback mirror in the kitchen. To me it was actually the smartest part of the room but I'm pretty sure she didn't even refer to it, presumably not to draw attention to it being broken?
I could definitely live in that apartment, the views and the nice spacious bedroom absolutely make it attractive, but I'm not sure I could live with having to send guests into my bedroom to use the loo. The tiny kitchen is fair enough but I could live with a smaller entryway and smaller bedroom to make space for a proper bathroom that's not accessed through the bedroom.
They'd have to remove that fecking teeth couch though: it's ghastly.

Must be a laundry in the building too as no sign of washer or dryer in this house (think she had them in the intryway of old apartment?)

It's on the upper east side, and anyone who's lived in NYC knows that there's nothing special about the UES, it actually has some of the cheaper rents compared to downtown! Low 60s on east side as well so she's actually still a decent walk away from the park
