I was at the baby show yesterday- honestly the only things worth buying/ordering were the discounted bigger ticket items (prams, cribs etc), everything else was a massive rip off.
God knows what rubbish she’s spent her money on.
Yes the bags of tommee tippee stuff , that’s always on sale in aldi lidi baby events

Turned off so many brands with their free giving of stuff to the huns. Sinead Hingston is just a freebie channel now, even selling her own candle 🙄 I cannot buy off a brand who would rather gift an influencer than a charity or give a discount to loyal customers/followers regularly

Yup my own husband was with me at it (smiling and nodding as i excitedly pointed at stuff I wanted lol).

My own husband was there with me too. To be honest though, he was pretty excited to try out the buggies. The Tommy Tippee bits weren't

Same. Mine was excited to try out the buggies 😂

I don't have kids but have plenty of friends and family who do. I get the distinct vibe that Kim has duck all bought for the baby? Most of my friends were buying up baby stuff whenever it came into Aldi and Lidl. Showing bottle sterilizers, bottle makers, bibs and a baby grow and some vitamins.. Ffs she could have bought all that stuff in the big Boots on Half Moon Street in Cork and got a load of loyalty points if she had signed up to the baby club. That, plus the cost of fuel to drive up to Dublin. This one hasn't a clue how much it is going to cost to raise a child. She's definitely expecting a big baby shower and all that stuff given to her.

She got the baby elegance bundle and that has alot of the bigger items covered.

She's definitely missed a trick.

I’m only 17 weeks and have most of the hospital bits, few clothes /bibs and the big stuff on deposits. She’s in for a huge shock!!

I’m 25 weeks and have been collecting stuff as I go- we’ve been lucky enough that our furniture bundle was a gift from my in laws and my folks bought our travel system (you’d never know it’s a first grand baby ha!)
But yeah we’re also collecting bits and bobs as we go- keeping an eye out for freebies/special offers etc. Have most of our hospital bits assembled, just not packed.
Also have mates who are done with the baby phase and only too happy to have someone to throw all their hand me downs at!
Basically it's time to stop posing for endless belly rubbing boomerangs and start getting serious.

I hope the baby will take to those bottles 🙈 and also how many bottles warmers does a person need 🤣

Also it’s pronounced doe dee not dew dee🙈or is that a cork thing ?

Was thinking that. I had those bottles and my baby wouldn't take to them 😅 Ended up getting mam ones for her and the next baby. Never once used the bottle warmer! She obviously plans to just bottle feed from the start if she got the perfect prep so soon

Nothing wrong with that, it's her decision to make.
I'll be giving BFing a whirl, but very open to bottles if it ain't working for us. I've been told to get an array of bottles/soothers as they can be picky little feckers about them!

I didn't say there was 🤷‍♀️ I have two kids and ended up bottle feeding the first after trying and failing at breastfeeding, on my second kid now and only breastfeeding. It's actually harder bottle feeding in my opinion. So much more cleaning etc.

26 Weeks and same. We've picked up almost all of the bigger items by keeping an eye out for sales/special offers etc and have picked up a lot of the smaller bits too. Honestly, we've very little left to get and it's a massive relief! She doesn't seem to have much sorted yet except the baby elegance bundle that she's been paying off.
