He's not that small baby though. He's 8 months old now and a lot sturdier. I found it much more stressful bringing either of mine swimming before 5 or so months. I'd say it was Nana's idea anyways. She's basically the child's third parent at this point.
But trying to get him dressed and yourself while he’s screaming can be stressful I don’t blame her for bringing her mam with her to the pool. But then again she don’t even bring him to the park either

Bragging at her age about getting ‘locked’ at a strangers baby’s christening is really sad. Also given she’s only just started antidepressants it’s not a wise move, that hangover will pack a double punch when her mood inevitably dips big time. Not fair on herself but especially not fair on Ollie. Bloody hell like the woman hasn’t been able to drag her arse to soft play or a playground with the child but Dublin for a random woman’s child’s christening? Can’t get there quick enough!

Surely someone starting taking antidepressants fairly recently isn’t “getting locked”?!

as someone with a history of anxiety and depression (not at the moment) I can say Alcohol will hugely affect her in the days after, but surely a grown adult knows this?
she needs to take some responsibility for herself and that little boy

She used to do more with the child that called her Bob than she does with her own. Her best friend that she did so much for is rarely seen now. Sometimes it suits these wans to have a childless friend. 🤷‍♀️
True that friend seemed to disappear when the option of babysitting wasn’t there any longer. Funny we’ve never seen the friend return the favour of minding Ollie given the amount of times Kim took her kid

I see similar within our own group of friends. One of the girls doesn’t have kids, and dotes on everyone else’s and there is one mom who would be very inconvenienced if the day ever came that she had her own kids and didn’t spend all her money/time on kids.

I’d say it suited that Amy one that Kim didn’t have kids so that Amy could let Kim be an aunt to her son, so she’d be there for school pick ups, days out, after school minding, sleep overs.

She definitely does not treat Ollie like Kim treated her son.
