The bedroom the boys are in is big enough to house the baby too when he is a bit older. Don’t get me wrong if she wants to move then that’s her choice but personally I would use that money to give my kids a decent life not splurge it on rent. This is coming from someone who is in a small two bed flat with three kids who can’t move because I own and can’t afford to upgrade. She has more space than me. She could make some blinding memories with the kids for that sort of money and they would remember and cherish that more than living in a bigger place

So true or even for the daughter to share so Zara has her own room for her and baby

Why bother with a cot when he's already like 6 months old?

Genuine question, not being assy, but what are they supposed to have at six months? I have a four month old who is getting too big for her next to me crib so I was going to get a cot like she has but now I’m wondering if this is wrong? I’m a clueless first time mum 🤣

We had a cot bed for all 4 of ours. They will go into a cot then when there like 2 1/2 I’ve just taken the sides of my youngest means I haven’t had to splash out on a cot then bed

A cot is fine but it just seems like a bit of a waste of money to me at this stage! He'll outgrow it in no time then she'll splurge on a toddler bed.

im pretty sure she said it was a cot bed so it will turn into a toddler bed I’m guessing that’s why she did it

No defo put into a cot, go for a cotbed if you want to take sides off and use for longer but toddler size beds are not too expensive. We changed our sons cotbed into the toddler bed at 2 years old but some people use a cot way past that. We've held on to it now he's in a single incase we have a second baby... still undecided.

I will say one thing for her after watching her shopping haul , she feeds the kids healthy food . She could fill the fridge with pizza and ding meals but she seems to eat healthy . I know she buys coke etc but she’s entitled to some treats herself .

Not sure how to multi quote but thanks all for answering my question regarding the cot! 😊

re her money - I understand that it’s nice for her to have a bit of money now and I don’t begrudge her and her kid having nice stuff, but she should try and be careful and spend it wisely. If not for rent then for a nice holiday, experiences etc.
