I don’t believe she got as much inheritance as she said she did. Wasn’t it like £60/70k? If it was and she still had a decent chunk left then she would not be receiving any UC. Over £16k in savings and you get nothing.
I think she got a few thousand and spent it on the sofa, iPads, beds, washing machine and all those top up shops of peparamis and fruit.
A quick calculation and her basic UC entitlement would be around £1014 every 4 weeks. That’s if the first Av is born in 2017 or before, that’s without any additional elements for any disabled children or carers. I assume she has no childcare fees and majority if not all of her rent in the flat would be covered under UC too which would also be on top of that figure I think.
She probably doesn’t have any deductions as she doesn’t work, no savings, no childcare fees etc. Correct me if I’m mistaken as I’m only going on my knowledge of UC from my own claim.
Child benefit would be £373.60 every 4 weeks.
I would assume she gets council tax reduction. Utilities must be quite cheap in the flat too.
So what is she spending nearly £1400 a month/£350 a week on?!
I think it was between 60-80k she said, I know private rent is pretty expensive and she’d have been paying full council tax too which could’ve been a lot more than she’s used to paying with her deductions.
I think she just blew it on food shops as well, all branded when it doesn’t have to be. Constant pre cut fruit, meal deals for herself about £4 a go, red bulls, cans of coke, insane amounts of snacks for her kids as well. Her bills can’t be too expensive in a flat as it’s all one level as well. It costs me about £180 max a month for gas & electricity which isn’t much as I used to pay much more before changing providers. That’s for a 2 storey house as well so if she’s paying more than me then I’d be concerned.
I’m fairly certain her daughter was born after 2017 so she’ll get 2 UC amounts for her first 2 kids, child benefit for all 5, her own amount for single over 25 and she says none of the dads pay (if they don’t then it’s up to her to do something about it instead of just moaning). Who knows if she’s claiming extras for the kids, I doubt it as she said about putting a claim in for 1/2 of them for autism I believe but never mentioned it again as far as I’ve heard.
No idea what she’s spending a fortune on every week considering she’s taking money off everyone else, I’d assume she must have crazy debt but she has nothing to show for the debt so what is it even for?

Her UC is capped, she’s shown her statements before and she gets around 400/500 all together plus child benefit on top. I think that’s why she’s trying to go down the DLA route for the kids because the cap lifts!
I don’t know what the caps are for UC but it does make sense. I’m just baffled as to why she’d keep having more kids if she’s getting about £500 UC max and £370 ish child benefit. That’s only about £870 to pay for leftover rent costs, council tax (reduced slightly), bills and food, clothes, car etc for herself and 5 kids. Why continue to have more kids!? It’s ridiculous!
