The grimmest idea for a summer holiday. We had a campervan when the kids were that age- they want to drive no more than half a day and then stay on a campsite with a mini disco. I’ve done about half of that exact drive before we had the girls and it’s no fun if you break down or arrive at a campsite late at night or in the rain and have to get set up- it’s not one for toddlers.
 
I for one cannot wait to see the shartavan on its summer vacay. It will take DAYS to drag that thing to Italy, crammed full of packet ham and blenders, air fryers and 75,000 sticker books.

It’s a bit of a departure for them though. I’m sure she is also massively fishing for some hotel stays by whacking up a map of half of Europe… 🙄

... and I cannot now get the sodden theme song, Holiday Road, out of my bloody head 🤣🤣🤣
 
Surely she isn't going to take the shart cart abroad? I bet she will borrow her in law's motor home - It looks much more road worthy!

I couldn't think of a worse holiday with kids- especially in Northern Europe where the weather can be a bit unpredictable.
I have visions of bits flying off the shart cart at speed and the lid blowing off, spewing rafia shopping bags and chia seeds across the roads!
