Probably, but also Île de Ré is full of holiday houses owned by Parisians and this half term week doesn’t exist for french pupils as the end of the school year is in June, much earlier than England. So it was probably fairly dead anyway.

French Hamptons killed me too

Even if she was too tired to walk (understandable for a child mid-afternoon on vacation) they could have sat in a shady spot for her to rest/recharge and carry on. Same for the place they didn’t go to because naptime. I would have gotten a buggy for R to be honest. Instead of the air fryer and waffle maker for example

It’s a bit rich of her to be sharing pictures of the kids playing in French playgrounds today. I’m horrified at the news and would have been 10 times more horrified if I had just come back from holidays in France with my kids.
