Those meatballs look absolutely bogging. Why wouldn’t you brown them off with the onions in a frying pan? Meatballs aren’t meant to be slooorcookered - they’re moist and soft. Sloooorcookers are meant for cheaper cuts of meat that are tough so you slooor cook them over a long time to break down the fibres…beef stew, boeuf bourguignon etc. She’s just a lazy cow who likes the idea of just chucking it all into the sloooor cooker and leaving it all day. PS a handful of spinach is not a portion of veg.
