Is it normal to wear converse or nu balance trainers to the gym? Surely they aren’t supportive enough? I don’t go to the gym but i do run and i have proper running trainers specifically for it this looks tragically grotty

I’ve noticed a lot of people at my gym who lift weights seem to wear those converse. Not sure why though. New balance were initially a running trainer long long before they became fashionable. To me they’ll always be a grandad running trainer.

I used to date a body builder (highly doubt bogs training for Mrs Olympia so very strange none the less) and what he told me is flat trainers such as converse, vans, jordans etc were ideal on leg day as you need a flat surface to most efficiently push all the way from your feet that you maybe wouldn't get wearing a Nike Zoom or something like that that's why you sometimes see people doing squats barefoot... but god knows what Mandy Dingles excuse is as she'll only be there to do an overhead press with a little set of 0.5 kilo dumbells and given that she's a 40 k a month boss babe she surely can invest in 2 or 3 different pairs of hokas that are suitable for her "fitness" needs

Come to think of it, maybe that's why she's giving brickshit house at the moment she's on a bulk with the aim of competing in toned figure her latest excuse to be in a g string in front of a crowd lol as boddeehhh possitifffitteehh sniff seems to be a dying art lol
