Ah I see. Makes sense then. Surely a £10k a month boss babe wouldn’t be entitled to UC, let alone anything else. Oh wait……Cost of living payments started yesterday....

Surely if she's claiming benefits as a single person even she wouldn't be that stupid to parade her 'husband' about all the time, telling the world how much they love each other and have sex on an open instagram/youtube account?!
Doesn’t really matter what she calls him if they’re not legally married in the law. And she’s never mentioned technically he lives there lately has she. Can easily pretend he moved out & into his rental.Surely if she's claiming benefits as a single person even she wouldn't be that stupid to parade her 'husband' about all the time, telling the world how much they love each other and have sex on an open instagram/youtube account?!

Former DWP benefits advisor and visiting officer here. I used to do living together visits and assessments. No such rule as allowed to stay x many nights per week exists. It all goes down to if you are living as husband and wife looking at your overall living situation and lifestyle. An off shore worker might be away for weeks at a time but is still living with his partner. Then again you can be sharing the same house as your partner but the relationship has broken down and you are genuinely separated in the same household. The way beaver and Beggy show their lives there is no way they would get away with her claiming as a single parent. You're allowed to have a bf, or probably even a husband, but it's all done on if you live together, they're allowed to stay a certain number of nights a week before your single claim gets affected.
Absolutely ridiculous but if DWP seen her shagging claims I don't think she'd have issues if she told them Beaver comes, dips his wick every night then goes back to his own house to sleep sadly
I'm still a member of universal credit Facebook groups back when I had to claim in 2016, and sometimes the job centre can come round and do an inspection at the property, but I don't think it's ever unannounced so Beev would just pack anything he had there into the boot of his fiat panda and bog could probably still continue her claim.

If they were joint claimants - him technically unemployed and her low income self employed and their calculations were done do you reckon they could be eligible for UC ?Former DWP benefits advisor and visiting officer here. Steve's rich dad has his usesWhat about the Tesla? Assuming it’s on a monthly rental contract rather than owned outright, would they be able to claim UC whilst paying a lot of money every month for a car that’s more expensive than they need, and whilst owning or having the use of a second car? Would that be classed as essential outgoings in the same way as mortgage / food / school uniforms etc? I know you save a lot by not having to buy fuel but still seems like an extravagance rather than essential.
