RE Holly Willoughby - It’s so bleeping lucky the person he was talking to was an undercover police officer and not an actual member of the forum/website…I don’t know how you begin to recover from that fact knowing that

I keep thinking this. I don't know how Holly sleeps at night thinking what could have happened if he hadn't been caught, plus it makes you think if that could happen without you knowing, is there others or will there be? duck ever being in the public eye.

Gavin Plumb will serve minimum of 15 years and 85 days

The judge says that if he had been sentencing him to a determinate sentence, he would have sentenced him to concurrent sentences of 24 years imprisonment for each offence.

Because he would have served up to two third of that sentence in custody, the fixed the minimum would be 16 years.

The judge reduces that minimum term by number of days spent on remand in custody, so this means that the minimum term that he will serve is 15 years and 85 days.

I feel like if his intended victim wasn’t a celebrity he would not have got such a long sentence. I hope I’m wrong but somehow violence (threatened or happened) against people with a celebrity connection is treated more harshly than against a ‘normal’ person. Maybe it is to make an example of them as it will be widely reported

I don't think it's because of who she is. I think his history of behaviour towards women played a part in that sentence.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after reports of an attempted attack at a Sikh temple.

Two women were injured during an attack at Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend at 8.10pm on Thursday, Kent Police said.

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a religiously-aggravated public order offence

Coward going for the women! Arseheaded kid.

Wow. That is terrible.

Is it really diminished responsibility though if she had stopped taking her medication? I know it’s a very emotive subject.
Yes because reasonings behind diminished responsibility / lack of capacity do not change the fact that at the time and place she had lack of capacity or that she has a mental illness. A lot of people with mental illness’ such as this have trouble believing they are unwell. Plus the medication side effects are terrible. Hence why depot antipsychotic injections are available, due to non compliance.

The incident was 4 years ago and the release from hospital with no plan is still happening. Promises made to families not followed through. Rapid discharges and medication not even sorted properly months later. I'm sorry to say I expect to see more stories like this as there is no help even when families are crying out for it.

I feel sorry for everyone involved this is such a horrible story. No doubt they'll be an enquiry claim lessons learned but the reality is nothing will change.
It’s really very sad. It was known she was paranoid the doctors were trying to kill her. If I was unwell and thought somebody was trying to kill me, I would probably resist the medication they were giving me too. Why was she trusted to take the tablets when she had these thoughts about the people prescribing her drugs? They really set her up to fail. Things need to change.
