This local to me. Glad he got life.

l‘ve just been reading about this shocking case. I hadn’t heard about it before.
He must be mentally ill surely to think that this would solve his girlfriend woes.

Here are the sentencing remarks relating the murder of little Lola Jame.

Marelle’s sister posted this, does she mean that her parents weren’t informed about the murder until they saw it in the press or that the press posted a photo of the house before letting them know?

Is anyone following the case of murderer Courtney Tailor? She's been sued by her victim's family for funeral expense and I hope they win. Her crime and the feigned innocence/poor little girl routine in the aftermath is appalling. I am really hopeful her trial will end with a long prison sentence as the authorities seem very determined they get it right with this.

Yes ive been waiting on Thomas Ohalloran trial to begin, am glad it's the start of may. Such a senseless attack. I was so shell-shocked at the time who would murder and stab an innocent elderly immobile man. I always thought robbery, but he didn't exactly have loads on him

This is horrendous,poor lady. 🙁

He had attempted to clean the bloodied hallway with bleach before he shaved and dyed his hair in a bid to change his appearance. He then fled the scene and slept in a trailer in a nearby industrial estate.

Doesn’t this show he knew what he did was wrong? I don’t fully understand ‘diminished responsibility’ though.

going by what’s been reported in the welsh media, he believed he was being chased by hidden forces and so effectively thought he was on the run - which might account for him dying his hair.

i’ve thought about that poor lady all day, and her daughter and friend who found her :(

I just remembered about this case, seeing this update.

Abused woman who snapped? She sounds very calculating though and laughing the dock and "I can't remember" (so many can't remember when they do bad things)...I don't know what to think.

Oh I just read in another article he was prescribed anti psychotics two years earlier but he had weaned himself off them. So seems to be a history.

it’s horrific, like something out of a horror movie. I don’t know how the daughter and friend will ever get those images out of their heads.
