Radio Recommendations & Rants aka (The Tattle Ken Bruce Support Group)

According to my TV guide, PopMaster TV is on Channel 4 tomorrow night at 8pm.

I'll assume they were pleased with the numbers from More4.
Haven't heard Ken say anything about this, could they just be repeating the More4 series again, putting it up against BBC 4's Friday music/TOTP nights?
More4 got record viewing figures, over 800,000 tuned in.

It does say it's a repeat so I'm assuming it's the More4 shows. Maybe giving it a little try out on the main channel to see if it takes off.

New RAJA figures out .... Looks like Greatest Hits nabbing Ken Bruce has paid off. Also good to see Boom Radio doing well.

I've been enjoying Solid Gold Gem AM online lately, no adverts either.
9-10am is Guess the Year via the music
10am-12 is good, great mix of music
12pm Barry Jay, 1950/60s Cafe

I'd forgotten about Solid Gold Gem. I'd listened to it a few times ages ago. I first heard of it via GORTONIAN/ Paul from Manchesterford over on DS.

I saw that LBC, Times Radio and Talk were all down but GB News has gone up but it's still far behind its rivals.

Ken Bruce now has 4.1 million listeners on GHR

That's great to see. Ken must be pleased. I actually don't mind Vernon but if I want music and light chat mid morning I do stick with Ken. Pop Master is still the king of quizzes too.

Yeah, Ken's show is still very good.
BBC Local Radio stations have been big losers it seems, due to all the cuts made regarding local programming.
