Oh totally. His excuse that he stayed in the nyc place that time because he was going to ‘break it off’ with him but he ended up staying four days for ‘convenience’ is barely an excuse at all it’s so flimsy - at this point Epstein had been charged as a sex offender and everything! What baffles the mind is how he went into that interview without a better answer prepared about why he stayed there. Emily Maitlis seemed in disobelief that that was all he had on that one, she asked several times. Some mutterings about it being full of people like a palace... but let’s put it straight. What innocent person would want to stay at the home of a convicted sex offender? Even if it was large and full of staff. Especially if you don’t even know the guy well as he claims! (Another instance where that line doesn’t make sense)

The I Don't Sweat thing was beyond bizarre. Literally has got to be one of the worst lines of defence ever. You just know all the papers are scurrying around finding photos of him sweating around that time, right now.

Excellent article from a very surprising source, thanks for this. The last paragraph is brilliant

True, it didn’t seem to even occur to him to FAKE sympathy for the actually hundreds of traumatised women, victims of Epstein and cronies ... such as himself. But not even a forced somber concern - and his pr didn’t suggest it either?. many of the victims haven’t even been able to come forward officially because it’s too painful to talk about. Virginia is a rareity in waving anonymity too. Who knows who else is out there that had Andrew sweating all over them.
 
He really is unbelievable, the arrogance of that man. Why on earth haven't him, not Ghislaine been detained and questioned. Just highlights how rotten the whole "firm" is, and the power that "well they bring in tourism" "look at the pretty dresses" folk seem to pretend doesn't exist.
He's been implicated for years in this, and his pr couldn't even advise him to muster up some fake remorse for the survivors, instead they tell him to say he's let his side down, memory loss the favourite excuse of narcs, is just too honourable a man... wtf.

The cover up of ill treatment, makes you think about what Diana suffered with Charles and not one hand of support. All this talk of hypocrite Harry getting chucked out, when they still let this n take centre place.

Wow and I thought this would be dull. How has the palace let this go ahead? For his own sake should have never agreed to it. If the photo was faked then would be easy to prove it as would be a medical condition. Be back in an hour!
 
The best thing is I get the impression Andrew thought the interview went as well as could be expected? Like at the end he starts to relax and you can almost hear him thinking to himself, “well that was tough but I did really well, yeah answered all the questions and got my key points across, established myself as a man of honour, yeah not pleasant but It’s good to draw a line under it now”

Ummm, nope.

I haven't watched the interview yet, will try and find it online later, but have read a number of newspaper articles about it that go into a lot of detail about what he said. I don't believe a word Andrew said, from what I've read he came across as a pompous prick who couldn't care less about anyone other than himself and his own reputation. I would say his reputation is in tatters, irreparably. What sort of person knowingly stays at the home of a known and convicted paedophile? Actions speak louder than words.

His PR advisor told him not to but Andrew went ahead, so the pr guy quit (or they mutually agreed to part ways :rolleyes: ) a few weeks ago over this.

He (the pr guy) advised him to get his head down on the charity work for a few months and do two major press interviews next year in time for his 60th (one uk, one US). In other words, good advice.

This pompous prick has been photographed sweating and doing PDA's on many occasions so he can STFU about his ridiculously bad excuses.

The man's a total idiot and seriously should be got rid of out of the BRF.
