I find it interesting that they're so desperate to be inclusive that they don't seem to pay attention to their actual audience. Look at the difference between the likes on the 'weatherperson' post. Clearly more people are bothered by the cis nonsense than someone perhaps accidentally mislabeling an obvious woman vs one (yes one) very aggressive non binary person.

I don't get it.
What an absolute knob. I can't see the post or the original comment, but I'm sick to death of this attitude. Whenever I see debates like this come up, the trans community are usually aggressive, rude and incredibly hostile. Their argument that they're "tired" of explaining thenselves doesn't wash with me, it's fighting fire with fire when the vast majority of the time people get stuff wrong through simple ignorance or lack of understanding. Not everything needs to turn into a rant. These people are expecting the world to adapt to them overnight, when unfortunately these things take time, and from what I've seen so far society is doing a lot to accommodate people who identify as trans.

Really don't get the fuss I'm afraid.

It sounds awkward saying weatherwoman and diminishing to call a grown meteorologist a weathergirl.

But she put it in inverted commas. Which is not (as she calmly and politely explained umpteen times) because she wasn't sure that weatherperson is an accepted term but rather because (according to aggressive NB person) she's probably a raging cis TERF who wants to genocide the poor misunderstood trans community in the street.

Or something.

It’s really fun being a raging “cis” TERF, she/he/it should try is some time

Re the tattoo- ffs! I could understand if it was something specific to that community and someone wanted to make sure it was right, but asking a load of randoms on a dress group?

All my tattoos are very personal to me and they tell a story. The only person who had any input into any of them was my best friend when I couldn’t quite figure one of them out. And that’s exactly what tattoos should be- personal and meaningful not some random rubbish. I’m quite surprised no-one has had the Popsy logo tattooed on them yet…..

Don’t give them ideas. Maybe they could get some faded flowers round it too for the bobbly effect

This comment has me confused, the background is two people who have noticed they live in same area and were both previous involved in a parenting group.

Why would an autism diagnosis mean she can't now socialise?

So much Popsynonsense

"I've become less able to socialise" - what a load of bollocks, you don't catch autism and suddenly become unable to socialise if you were able to before.
