I can't believe half these women are actually grown ups, every day there is something to top the day before for stupidity and/or absurdity.

So, the grief tourist says the little boy loved pirates, and it 'would be nice' if there was a pirate-themed top named after him. I have no words for how inappropriate this is. Have I read that wrong?

I can't stand grief junkies. One of my fears in life is me or one of my family dying in a tragic way and not only having the grief and trauma to deal with but then people who don't know you putting out flowers, doing vigils, posting all over SM about it etc. It's so weird. Also, she posted saying he was very unwell then the first comment was someone telling her quite sensitively that unfortunately the boy died at the weekend and she wrote back "I know". Right, but you'd just posted and didn't say he'd died.

Bunch. Of. Weirdos.

^ How I plan to end every single post on this thread now.
I've always said that if I die and someone tries to make it all about them on Facebook (I have friends who have form) I will haunt them horribly for the rest of their lives.

Forget about their TWs, half the bloody group is a safeguarding concern with the stuff they post about their children/workplaces etc

I honestly think it's something the admin should clamp down on. Without doxxing (popxing?) myself, I run a Facebook group about something completely innocuous that became very popular and members started straying off topic, oversharing identifiable info and basically using the group as therapy. We were aware how much danger this both us and our members in so we immediately put posts on approval and set up rules including no pictures of children and no identifying details given away beyond obviously your name and photo (if it's relevant). Any posts that were too heavy or breached our rules would be declined.

The Popsmin can, and imo should do this.

Non-story of the day is a woman whose dog was not on a lead got told off by someone for not having her dog on a lead.

I'm worried if I die my husband will see I was in the Popsy group and feel the need to invite them all. At least there won't be any Popsy in the Coffinm

You probably need to make funeral arrangements now. That way you won’t end up with a Popsy fabric lined coffin (don’t steal this idea Cherish) or end up getting buried in a dress with ugly flowers on it.

I’m worried that when you die you end up wearing the same clothes all the time in the afterlife. A Popsy would be a nightmare.

A few pages back we complained about "brought" instead of "bought" and now some bright spark has piped up with "bort".
