Oh my god. I do wear the odd popsy - I used to be quite caught up in the excitement of the Friday release although I never graced Frocks and Cocks with a contribution after reading an argument over trans people that ended with Sandra basically saying terfs can leave if they don’t like seeing blokes in dresses (paraphrasing) anyway I would never NEVER not a million years wear one to a wedding. Especially not one with a naff design like that.

I could have sworn someone got married in a Popsy. It was one of the floral light coloured ones and it had a petticoat underneath. I mean it didn’t look terrible for a small registry office wedding, but they looked more like a guest than the bride.

I can never understand why people don't blur or crop out their backgrounds if they can't be arsed to tidy up. I am all for finding comfort in something but it's so cynical when it's a brand that encourages you to keep spending money.

I hope I don’t come across as snobby because I don’t mean to be, and I know money is tight for everyone, but I’d try to find something a bit more dressy and elegant for a wedding than a bloody Popsy dress!

I think that dress is £49. Fairly sure that most could find something suitable for that amount. That said, I do think a couple of the older vintage style ones would work for a wedding, but defo not that one.

Oh my goodness, she has commented with his full life story and it is really sad, I feel for her and for him. But you’re right, a dress group of 52k strangers is not the place to share it and the original post does come across a bit attention seeking. She could have just put a pic of herself in the actual dress tomorrow. It’s tricky I guess, her son and his condition must be her whole life. But I now feel icky for knowing so much about him
