Haven't bought a Popsy dress since 2022. Don't see myself buying in 2024 so reckon that's a good one.

Resolving to sell my few Popsy dresses with prints as the "Popsy in the wild" fear is massive. Just need to work out how to use Vinted.

I also resolve to remember Jade at times of insomnia and instead of doom scrolling or posting here, visiting the group and searching for her posts. I reckon I'd be back asleep in minutes.

And maybe if I'm brave enough I resolve to turn on the AGPs, posting on a few of their threads all at once before accepting this will result in a ban but hopefully letting the silent feminists on the group know they're not going mad, and maybe causing a few of the handmaidens to think about where this praise of men in dresses is going.

I’m the same. I’m building up to posting about how creepy it is that the group is slowly being infiltrated by men imposing their fetish on women without their consent. I’m pretty sure my post won’t even make it past the approval stage, but I would be hopeful that SOMEONE would see it, even the admin who rejects it.

That's why I think mass posting of comments on a few posts already there is the way to go. A post itself even if it got through admins, would quickly be reported and taken down.
 
Just clicked on the wrong thread, it was the missing people and murder thread, clearly not awake and thought dear God what has Tim been up to now? Is that how he has such a large dress collection, are they his victims!

A lot of us are barred for things like , liking a comment telling Gummy to safeguard her kids, and other pathetic things. If Sandra does read here she should already know how people feel about the fetish men yet does nothing at all. I think it’s well worse than the locket group.
 
My popsy New Year’s resolution is don’t give greasy Greg any money this year. Only bought and returned one last year.

I would also like to call out the fact they decline loads of nice normal posts in case they “offend people due to mention of weight/looking bigger” but allow fetishists to post as often as they like.

Shall we all accept a ban and comment on all the freaks posts?
 
I find the fawning over the AGP’s in that group really distasteful. Timberley and Danielle are bad enough but Alan is seriously disturbing and I don’t understand how they can all fawn over someone who is giving off really creepy vibes. Let’s just remind ourselves of this… Tell me this isn’t anything to do with a fetish, yet he gets way more likes than anyone else. The camera is an especially creepy touch. Can they really not see it?

The only trouble with calling out the Alans of this world is that it invariably causes absolute ructions in whatever group it happens in. I’ve seen multiple groups IRL and online explode over the issue, as everyone has to take their alloted place in either Team “TERF“* or Team ”Ally”. I got booted from a fashion group for tall women for saying “actually, no, I think that having 6’3” males built like brick shithouses in the group is the opposite of useful when we’re discussing how to find clothes for tall women, as men and women obviously have different builds”. INSTABAN. I hadn’t even finished the sentence which was “and also, I’m not here to provide wank fodder and affirmation, I just want to know if anyone has any feedback on what the sleeve length is like on this Hobbs dress” 🤣


*just using this term for convenience, to my mind it’s lost all meaning as an insult by now, as it encompasses everyone who knows how babies are made…
 
Alan, Timara, Danielle etc have ruined that group. Yes there are oddballs on there but essentially it was a nice group where people posted pictures of themselves in dresses they like and everyone was nice about each other. I wouldn't feel comfortable posting a picture of myself on there as it's just feeding their fetish. If I had a group like that on FB I wouldn't let them join. It should be a safe space for women which it isn't any more.
