Just leaving this combover for good luck. Rub the wig and you too may receive good fortune to sponge off someone else to pretend to have your own successful business ✨

Serious question… are the products any good?

The original eye base, i genuinely liked, I thought it was good and affordable so I became a fan.
I then bought or had been gifted palettes, pigments and brushes.

Some of the brushes are ok but nothing to write home about.
The palettes are genuine copy cats of each other and if there’s any colour other than brown/gold on it then they all come with a warning to say not to put on your eyes. (I know a lot of palettes mark this because of the dye but it’s usually for certain shades only - her butterfly one was all the shades had not to be used)

I bought myself some “limited edition” (it’s not, I think it’s still on her website” duochrome Halloween themed pigments and they were god awful, they came off in an hour.

Then she decided to become a Rymans if you remember and came out with those ridiculous notepads/ diaries and if we filled them out we’d be billionaires by the next year.

I’ve only just discovered PL, for some reason it’s showing up on my TT a lot. So I did a bit of noseying around & here are my thoughts if anyone is interested….

- This brand seems to heavily rely on the packaging for sales. Yes it’s cute, but as a woman way into her 30’s I couldn’t give 2 hoots how a product is packaged up, as long as the quality is there.

- Maybe it’s just me, but the packaging is sort of confusing. I had to really inspect the products on the website to see what they were. Very gimmicky.

- This warehouse / shop/ cafe / office … what is it??? Seems to be all over the place . From outside it looks like your average industrial building, inside it’s just a jumble! I wish they would do something with the ceiling and the lighting in there too.

I’m not their desired customer - I’m well into my 30s and where minimal make up. Even if I did wear a lot of make up , I think there are better brands out there that don't constantly use ‘ babe ‘ and ‘ hun ‘ ( patronising and childish) all the time and are better quality for your money. This is a brand that seems to want it all but in the process ( although it’s made a lot of ££) is not as on trend as they think they are and have a very confusing and all over the place product range.
