so her brand was meant to be for muas, she said the brand would be just like professional stuff and she wont make anything thats already on the market thats great as she knows she cant do better…. Tik tok has changed everything and imo has ruined her rep and brand into something completely opposite what she intended just to make money

Honestly can’t believe what I’m seeing her, literally no adult let alone CHILD needs this much makeup, not even an mua, ESPECIALLY not from one brand. The level of consumerism here is disgusting, I don’t understand how normal working class people are finding the money to pay for such obscene amounts of makeup in this financial crisis. This is absolutely insane, they’re lining this woman’s pockets to filth

and the fact that make up actually has a time limit on it, usually 12-24 months which we know, all of that isn’t going to be used in that time 😓

While I think shoppers have a responsibility to buy sensibly, Plouise is definitely one of those brands that heavily promotes overconsumption. All of those offers on TikTok shop like the 3 blushes for £18 and most recently 3 of their different lip care boxes for the price of one just encourage hyper-consumerism. It’s a good deal in the short term but really you don’t need such a high quantity of product. Plus you’ll find one you like the most and the rest you’ll maybe use twice tops before it inevitably ends up in the bin. But they know rightly that teenagers will just see these discounts and sprint to checkout.

yes 1000% agree with this, the tiktok deals heavily rely on people having FOMO and the illusion that they’re getting a better deal, as you said, you don’t need three of one product it’ll largely go to waste. Plus a company tells me a lot about the quality of their products if they’re willing to sell 3 for the price of 1. You don’t see MAC, hourglass, estee Lauder etc doing such deals

Just seen someone I know post photos of their visit to the empire this weekend, all for their daughter who is 11!

I live local to where it is so see people posting about it often and I’m not criticising them for going (even if I couldn’t think of anything worse) but it’s so bizarre that a beauty/make up company’s target audience is now literal children. Not even older teens 🫠

Spot on. Never in my life have I finished an eyeshadow palette or blush🤣

also the deals are giving Tesco clubcard prices, they are way overcharging on the “before” price to be able to profit on charging the same for 3

Asif Luke got her a valentines card saying to the ‘love of my life’ 🤐🤮
🤢🤢🤢 that’s just plain weird and creepy.
I really don’t get the whole set up. Yes I get they sell makeup but every day just seems to be the staff in matching pjs with a different grazing table filming in for content in a giant pink warehouse? Obviously she is a bad witch CEO so I must be missing something 🤷‍♀️
