I saw Pixie Lott in Breakfast at Tiffany's in the theatre. She was awful, no charisma at all. She comes across really fake on The Voice Kids IMO.

Pixie Lott's fall was genuinely perplexing. Her debut album was a huge seller with multiple #1 singles, her follow up album started off well All About Tonight was a big chart topper and then it all went off. It's like the half way through her second era someone flipped a switch and everyone disliked her.

Pixie Lott had the haircut curse. Chopped off all her hair, end of career. Happened to Katy Perry too.

I think for Pixie taking The Voice gig was really smart - if she's not releasing music (and she doesn't seem to be consistently), it provides her with a stable income.
Slightly off topic but I saw her live in 2017 - she put on a decent show and had all the crowd singing song to All About Tonight! I had a good time anyway.

Yeah, that's what "unique" is a polite reference for.
Pixie can sing, though. But she really did drop off rapidly. And there was that horrendous cover of "Good Thing Going". To go to that from a cracking ballad like "Cry Me Out"...
Even if she was releasing music still, she'd earn more money from the Voice gig.

I agree, Pixie started off with a good voice and music, then both turned to tit. Even her music video quality declined.

I considered seeing that at the time but didn’t get round to buying tickets. Was she bad at acting, was there much singing?

Diana Vickers did try writing for other artists. She wrote this duet between Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez which didn't make the cut of his album but it's pretty good.

loved little boots!2009/ 10 had some great pop acts that disappeared. Liked Little Boots, La Roux, Noisettes, Mini Viva (who I felt were just getting lined up to fill Girls Aloud’s shoes by Xenomania), Alexandra Burke. Was a good couple of years in British pop music I found. I remember Pixie had a lovely range for Lipsy but they dropped her for Alex Gerrard or some wag
