Pippa O'Connor Ormond #7 POCO & BOCO: trying to figure out where they get their money has us going LOCO

It's not even that pippa is unrelatable anymore, she's actually unlikeable imo. Showing her la mer lip scrub for 70euro, and before any of Pippas fans say oh she's got the money, why not, absolutely knock yourself out pippa, but she doesn't need to show it. I can guarantee you not many would be influenced to buy a lip scrub for 70euro. Her latest podcast with stellar vickie from stellar the glow up was just a rehash of all the other podcasts she's done lately where her much "requested beauty secrets" were all very high end unaffordable for most skincare and makeup. Like they spoke about the brand Image skincare as if it was bargain basement....spoke about raiding selfridges beauty Hall buying a Hermes highlighter which is about 90 quid sterling . Madness.

Edited to add, her first story about the lipscrub made it sound like she bought it saying she had been looking out for it and it's in store now, it's gifted🙄

You’re so right. Do you remember when she first started her blog, she recommended affordable products like bourjois healthy mix foundation and rimmel lipsticks? She’d never do that sort of thing now.

I bought so many products she showed and loved them, loreal lumi magic which was a great dupe for mac strobe cream, bourjois liquid lipsticks, that bourjois java rice setting powder, herself and Tara used to swear by it and it was great, it used to be gone like gold dust from chemist's, I used to buy two at a time. I get she has long progressed past that but honestly, what a frivolous product. I don't think I've ever bought a lip scrub, is that even a thing. I've a Nuxe lip balm that was about 18 euros and I have it since Christmas. And that's where the luxury ends for me and gladly so.

But its intentional with pippa I think to be a snob,like look at susanna, no notions, looks to have a bog standard house. Doesn't seem to be too high maintenance apart from the hair, unlike pip has a beauty appointment every week to get something tweaked. She seems to be embarrassed easily about any airs or graces. Pippa is all about the finer details where as susu just wants to be having the craic
 
Hey ladies, do ya remember when pips magically got Billy's passport super quick or so it seemed and a few people on here seemed to have experience of applying for newborn passport etc my sis in law applied for her boy's passport at start of march, it gave a date of 5th of May to be done, they were going at end of May but no sign of passport yet, anyone any tips or advice as to how to speed it up?
She rang them and finally got through after a mill calls last week but they couldn't give her a date just said its going through final security checks

I know afew people here are familiar with where she lives, as am I. Straffan is full of women like Pippa or women who aspire to be like her. So it is all intentional to sell her lifestyle thereby selling her products or anything she sticks her name to.

Jesus the shallow lives club or what! I can picture them all at the school gates trying to be noticed in their Poco jeans by the queen while she waves at them from her Range Rover. Thing is though they're all going back to their over priced semi-ds while Pippa drives into her private gated mansion across the road.
 
I remember years back she posted a picture of the famous ‘star dress’ from Penneys and it sold out completely, so many people bought it as a result. Its a shame really that she doesn’t do high street fashion and cheaper make up products anymore, she was always promoting Bourjois too at one point. It was those things that made her likeable and relatable, and her content was enjoyable back then. It’s like she doesn’t have as much interest anymore.

I am very familiar with straffan. It’s a bit of a mad place in that it is the very height of notions. And it’s all a bit baffling to me. It was a tiny village now it’s viewed as some kind of salubrious location and I can’t understand why. It has no shops apart from a tiny mace. If you want to do a grocery shop you have to queue in very heavy traffic to get into Maynooth or Clane. It has no secondary school and one cafe. Honestly, never saw the big draw unless like Pippa you have the money to live in the k club which to be fair is lovely
