Is it warm in Portugal in April?
It’s unusually warm there at the moment 25/26c this wkend . It was cooler earlier in the wk about 18/19c .We have a few different sets of friends out there . Water is freezing but I’d imagine the Conrad have climatised pools . You could get a wk of rain too . I’d say Pippa just booked last minute when they seen weather was good .My cousin was out there in June a few years ago and they had rain & wind 5/7 days . Personally only ever been there in August .

Have been all over Portugal loads of times. Got married there too. They have zero culture going to the same places all the time. It’s either Dubai or there. There are so many stunning places in Portugal. They don’t even day trip anywhere. 🥱
Kids don't really want to be dragged around on day trips though, I know mine don't. Will do when they're older. Once there's a pool, beach and some activities, they are living their best life. So if I could afford to go on an all inclusive resort like that all the time, I would too 😅😅

Mine would be bored at a pool like that, much prefer be doing things when we are away

Mine at Pippas kids ages would have been the same . All they wanted was a pool , we always stayed in good Hotels that had plenty of activities and games so keep then entertained .
They loved meeting new friends and playing with them .Our lives are so busy I think they enjoyed the down time as much as we did . We always went to the Sun holidays in August when it was 35c plus so Hotel entertainment was plenty .

Mine too and it’s prob just a weekend away in the sun, and hard to drag a newborn around on a culture-fest.

Jesus why does this thread descend into Mumsnet every couple of pages. We’re here for the goss, not to brag about 5 star resorts what all our kids like to do on holidays. I’m nearly missing the HSE guidelines on weaning
THERE IS NO GOSS 🤷🏼‍♀️
And she overshares her kids, therefore people will comment on her kids and how they parent. If you want goss you’re probably on the wrong thread. Pipsy is boring af.
