Its strategic, not smart. As in today's day and age we're not stupid and we all know how Stellar, Image & business awards work. As several others have said buy a few tables spend 10k-20k & bag yourself a token award for funding the event! Strategic to be able to say "POCO Beauty by entrepreneur of year Pippa O Connor". laughable but strategic.

But does anyone actually care? Like would even people who think these awards are legit be impressed by Pippa winning? Back at her peak when she was selling out fashion factories and launched her Poco jeans it all seemed effortless. I think she made enough money to buy her big house and get a taste for the finer things in life, thought she didn’t need to work so hard and lost touch with where it all started for her. Now it’s like she’s realised that she’s got a lavish lifestyle to fund and the money isn’t rolling in like it used to so she's looking for the next big thing to flog. I don’t believe her heart is in Poco beauty and while the bigger influencers might get away with selling any old shite Pippa’s biggest problem is that she isn’t relevant anymore and I’d guess that 90% of her followers are people like me who follow along for the sake of it just because we did when she started out and remember her when she was likeable.
 
I, at times can be VERY easily influenced by alot of shite I see on SM - like products /trend items to buy- hello sambas, hello Stanley cup, but not one ounce of enthusiasm I have for that product

At her Pippas shows years ago she used to absolutely laud First Aid beauty coco smoothie base and it’s the same thing as her new product 🙃 she used to rave about another primer maybe -Stila 10 in 1 or something it was a silver tube I had it before too Same Same

She doesn’t own her big house… she’s desperately trying to cling on to it and I did have to laugh when reading that article that she doesn’t care what people say about her she must be taking a leaf from her brothers book he literally paved the way for having a brass neck

Who owns her gaff? The bank? I’d say it’s paid for in cash outright with her factories money and his alleged family business 🤣
 
I would imagine cash flow will be a problem for Pip , they spend a fortune on everything they do, hols, clothes, cars, etc . It’s all super high end . Selling a few pairs of jeans and sweatshirts could hardly sustain it all. They have to had lost money with Movrs and Up. Poco Beauty will go the same as the other non runners. I know you have limited liability with a company but they still have to feel a loss . Someone here with financial background would know more .
 
Lisa Shannon putting the primer not primer on her last night and there was ZERO difference to her skin, like zero .
I use Sculpted beauty base and in summer alone (well tanned skin) with some concealer and mascara is fab, I don't see Pippa's #notaprimer been like that.
