I’m sure I’m not the only one with loads of palettes that I haven’t touched over the last year. Peope who buy this sh!te in normal circumstances need to look at themselves but in a panedmic I am genuinely flummoxed...WHY?

Now I get why the wannabe bloggers would buy her sh!te, they’d only love a repost from Pipsy but normal Joe Soap... :confused:

I bought a Kevyn Aucoin palette the week before the first lockdown. I swatched it that evening, and I used it on New Year's Day. So yeah, definitely getting the value out of it!

and has been since brand initial launch

If you compare her to JustJordan 50,000 happy upbeat informative,yes annoying, stories about the shampoos etc on yesterday’s launch

then pippa wiping a bit of eyeshadow on and off she goes

I think this too between her and aimee copy connolly they both are sheep to Charlotte T. Nothing original all stick your logo on products shite

I don't think they have much to do with each other now since the pippas days out stopped and pippa launched her own brand.
 
Unpopular opinion here but I think Aimme has simply struck very lucky with a few of her white label products that have hit the mark. Her IT cosmetics copy is one of her best sellers as it’s a better price than the real thing and tbf is a solid product. She has a couple of inoffensive nice palettes and the new concealer is decent. But scratch beneath the surface and it’s a grand brand - in the last 10 years cheap makeup has been revolutionised and is much better quality. Back in the 90’s drugstore make-up was pretty poor but you only have to walk into a big boots or Superdrug and see the wealth of very good and very cheap options.

Aimee’s range is mid-market so I reckon she has serious profit margins and fair play to her. I just think some of the cheaper brands are just as good if not better.

Tbh cast your mind back,,,when Sosue launched people fawned over the lashes, contour kit and tans and it’s been on a downward trajectory thanks to her pushing out product after product and collection after collection.

Aimee looks like she is massively ramping things up to which I get as her figures are so strong but will ultimately mean being more exposed imo. Hope it doesn’t end up like SoSueMe but will be interesting to see how the brand evolves.

Sorry I realise this is a Pipsy thread but on an unrelated note, I remember when she was at her peak a couple of years ago when she was interviewed they would ask her what’s next and she would say getting into the UK market. Has she ever actually tried to launch there? She probably realised it was pretty much impossible with zero profile.

I agree, I don’t get the Aimee hype either, they’re just white label products. I’d rather get L’Oréal instead or nars/ Charlotte Til for high end makeup.
 
I dunno, I feel like its different cos Aimee is a really good make up artist, whereas neither So Sue or Pippa are. So it makes me think that Aimee would understand how different ingredients would work on different skin types cos she is used to doing lots of different peoples make up over the years. In saying that I got my make up done in her shop before and the girl did a horrendous job like waaay too much make up after me saying I like a natural face
