Okay this has taken her from mildly irritating to an actual certified clusterf*ck of a human.

I am honestly bubbling with rage at that. How dare she sit in her stately home ordering takeaways 6 nights a week and dressing her kids in Joules not have ANY LINGERING thought others might not be quite so lucky?!?!

That some people wean their babies on weetabix and puréed apple rather than lentil and red pepper dahl because that’s all they can afford.

With the primark tantrum earlier in the week, and now this, she’s REALLY showing her true colours of late.
 
To be fair to her, I think it’s good she’s raised awareness. We already give to food banks each month, but links that herself and other insta people have shared, has actually led me to also set up a monthly direct debit to food charities. We all need to do a little extra at the moment (if we can of course).

I don’t feel she should be scrutinised for raising awareness to what is happening at the moment.

It is good she has raised awareness but she should have started by saying she had donated & here are some links if you want to do the same. Instead she shared all these links then either got called out or actually realised she was being a hypocrite so then decide to donate as an after though. In my eyes she went about the process in the wrong way
 
In my eyes, she only did the donation and sharing links now because it's what people are talking about.
As soon as people stop talking about it so much, she won't do anything, same as she has never done anything before.
That's what bugs me about her and this.
She's doing it for content.

Never donated before or even considered the cause (tricky in her house I guess) and now she's a bleeping expert. The brass neck on her.

I hope it’s actually genuine. Think the way she’s approached it, acknowledging she’s not donated before ( which I agree is most odd. Everyone I know donate) is good. A lot better than some other influencers. Am I naive?

I totally agree. I’m not her biggest fan, but I think she’s done a good thing here. She’s used her platform to raise awareness, and even if she never donates to a food bank again, maybe some of her followers will start to do it more regularly.

At the end of the day fareshare, and the trussell trust will have benefited from her sharing all of this on her stories so it’s defs not a bad thing.

I donated my Clubcard vouchers after I saw her story, I don’t like the women but she influenced me 😂.
