It’s a popular saying in 12-Step Fellowships - I’ve heard it at AA meetings - and it encourages you to remember that tough times will still happen but they won’t last forever. She completely trivialises it imho because you just know she says it to herself when V comes home from school right up until bedtime, when Jim goes to see Alan and those difficult minutes waiting for dinner to cook
 
I’m surprised no one has commented on this, maybe I’m just eagle eyed or late to the party. The family pic of the 4 of them, anyone else notice Feebs with a ring on the ring finger?? Not a great screenshot cause obviously can’t have V in the pic

No chance! She is the Queen of extra, or a complete hypocrite - she can barely tolerate her offspring but she’ll write cards to them for the ‘Gram.

I hope they are engaged. The wedding will be the Tudor banquet to end all banquets, Feebs will get married in an F and F number (the reel to end all reels though) and the black and white vans. Their first dance will be Money’s Not Too Tight to Mention (cut back!) sung by Mick Hucknall and the speed and depth of her blinking will propel them off onto their honeymoon
