Messed reply up as I was so angry re atomic blondes reply re John Leslie

Well said 👏👏👏👏

@Moomoomoo you are a disgrace - how dare you defend this vile man, he's actually not a man but a monster. If you really did hangout with him back in the day you will know fine well what he was like. An arrogant so and so only starts to describe him.
If I were you I'd crawl back into whichever hole you came from.

You know I am correct !!

Itv would have given him money towards the legal fees to get independent advice. It would have been their job to make sure it was all explained and he was happy with it. Probably given a large sum so just took it, it's expensive and stressful to go after a big company even when you're not in the wrong.
So if paid to leave, paid to keep quiet - then what, someone else blabbed to the press?
Edited to add: it’s not really sacking if you get axed from one show and are still working on loose women... so that’s probably how he’s covered himself from unfair dismissal?

I am certainly not an expert on employment law (despite having been made redundant twice) but the expression “unfair dismissal” keeps being used by many posters. As I understand it MM worked on This Morning and then Dancing on Ice. There then appears to have been a jump across to Loose Women but since all three programmes are produced by ITV Studios Ltd, then MM is still employed by the same company and no dismissal took place. It is what HR people probably refer to as a forced moved so there may be a case to answer on the grounds of intimidation, bullying etc. but definitely no dismissal has seemingly taken place.
Just because MM is showing in credits doesn’t mean he hasn’t gone or been let go. To me, it’s looking likely to be a constructive dismissal. It could be he’s still showing up due to working on pre-recorded segments, like their con holiday competitions.

If MM was being bullied by PS (following a relationship) to the point where working on shows with him was untenable - I think that would be constructive dismissal? And given witnesses - and someone as high profile as Ruth putting in a complaint (assuming it was about behaviour from PS) - I guess she tit would truly splatter from the fan.

.
Good point that.

They are 2 separate cases though.

His first move was said to be a promotion from TM to LW, no laws had been broken there (I think that was back in June 2019).

With the Dancing On Ice, he's been taken off it (dismissed from that prog) without given another position (from the 26th January 2020). He may have been infuriated by the situation.

So we think he is no longer employed?

There's also another side to the story though, yes I've seen fame hungry girls go to bed with him on meeting him in the hope of being mrs leslie! Am I saying any victims were like that? No. Theres also a guy who was subject to trial by media.....who deserved as much anonymity as the 'victim' until he was actually convicted of a crime!

I think some people expect people in the public eye to not take advantage of their position by using others who might be impressed with their job.

Gee, I opened a can of worms mentioning JL! I don't agree with bf's impression of him being a nice guy, when he was playing the mea culpa card. (Boyf's telling me he met him when he lived in Edinburgh and bumped into JL on a night out).

After Matthew Wright's slip up (intentional or not) the tabloids ran lots of stories about JL's "socialising" and wild parties at his home - and Abi Titmuss (or Titmess as my mate used to call her!!) for all she was doe-eyed and seemed sweet, seemed to have a thick skin, was ambitious and probably had a element of denial about her. She could be perfect "bait" for someone like JL, if allegations about him were true?

It's always wise to believe an accuser. And how can you ignore one person's voice when many others join in? So many people denegrate women as it is - even nowadays.
